The University Libraries fuel learning and research. We provide tools, resources, spaces and expertise to empower students and faculty in solving the global challenges of today and tomorrow. We bring an informed perspective to the entire campus by ensuring a diversity in thinking and discovery. Our mission is to be the indispensable hub of discovery, learning and creativity at Texas A&M. In doing so, we enable A&M students and faculty to make an impact in the community and the world.

Create transformational learning spaces ($87.5 million)

Imaginative and purposeful environments foster creativity, scholarship, study and collaboration. To create these spaces, funding is needed for:

• A new library facility on West Campus to keep up with the growth and needs of the university and its student body. Naming opportunities begin at $250,000.
• Equipment for renovated spaces. Giving levels range from $5,000 to $5.5 million.
• Furnishings for renovated spaces. Giving levels range from $5,000 to $2 million.

Preserve treasures and traditions ($8 million)

The libraries’ preservation efforts will ensure our materials are accessible for generations to come regardless of the format. Opportunities for investing in preservation include:

• Funding equipment and furnishings. Giving levels range from $25,000 to $5 million.
• Supporting digitization of our collections and archives. Giving levels range from $25,000 to $5 million.
• Naming an endowment for a conservator position. This will require a $1 million commitment.

Enhance our collections ($5 million)

The University Libraries’ collections not only define who we are, but set us apart from our peer institutions. Collections include rare books, manuscripts, photographs, scholarly databases, maps, general collections and other artifacts. Help build our collections by:

• Creating or contributing to a Special Collections Endowment. Giving levels range from $25,000 to $3 million.
• Creating or contributing to a General Collections Endowment. Giving levels range from $25,000 to $2 million.
