FUNDING PRIORITIES

Recruit and retain faculty to be a world-class teaching and research institution ($40 million)

Faculty chairs ($2 million) and professorships ($500,000) are key to building a team of renowned biologists, mathematicians, statisticians, physicists, astronomers and chemists. We also seek a $40 million naming gift for the college that will set the stage for Texas A&M to lead the world.

Name a new research and instructional building for biology ($25 million)

Our future leaders in any field related to medicine or biology will start their Aggie academic life in some of the campus facilities in most need of upgrade. You can name the new Biology Research and Instructional Building with a $25 million gift.

Endow the Science Leadership Scholars Program ($7.5 million)

You can support first-generation, low-income science students by endowing a $75,000 scholarship. These scholarships will benefit deserving students and help the college double its success rate in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education.
