Public Health

Funding Priorities

The School of Public Health is improving the health of communities through interdisciplinary inquiry, innovative solutions, and the development of leaders. Students use faculty as advisors, and each student participates in a practicum that seeks to solve a real-world, health-related problem. Students have conducted epidemiologic studies, assisted in programs/centers of faculty, and served as interns in Texas and around the nation and world. The college has been ranked among the top 25 best graduate schools for public health by S. News & World Report since 2008, and consistently ranks in the top five in student body diversity.
