FUNDING PRIORITIES

Create high impact learning, research and creative environments ($10 million)

The college is the fastest-growing at Texas A&M, with enrollment increasing from 1,600 to 3,100 in just the last five years. Space capacity has been reached, even as enrollment demands continue. The college proposes to expand capacity with 40,000 square feet of new space facilitated by the expansion of existing facilities in the Langford Architecture Complex and Francis Hall. This additional space will accommodate the demand for future growth and facilitate interdisciplinary learning amongst the programs housed in the college. Naming opportunities begin at $250,000.

Invest in leadership, practice, outreach and services ($4.25 million)

The college is positioned to build on its traditional strengths as well as develop new initiatives to meet the challenges and opportunities of its disciplines and apply those towards societal needs that can be uniquely addressed by solutions in the built and virtual environments. The college proposes to target areas of opportunity and match stakeholders with faculty support initiatives including endowed positions for the dean, department heads, and directors of interdisciplinary research centers and service institutes. You can support faculty with endowed gifts beginning at $150,000.

Support educational experiences unique to the College of Architecture ($3.75 million)

Such experiences include the design and construction professions minor and student global study opportunities. Endowed support starts at $25,000.
